Unknown Maker – Bullet Pencil – Trench Art

Interesting piece of trench art, and possible field relic. The base of the bullet says “FA 11 13” and it appears to be made from an actual bullet (unfired) with a pencil insert. An online search suggests that FA is for the Frankford Arsenal company and that the “11 13” indicates that it was produced in November, 1913.  Magic pencil style mechanism.
