S. Mordan & Co. – “S. Mordan & Co. Makers”

Early Mordan pencil. The “S. Mordan & Co. Makers” signature was used only during 1845-1852.  Very nice engine turned line & dot and barleycorn alternating pattern on barrel. No lead but mechanism is full working. Pink transparent quartz “shield” shaped inset in cap.
