S. Mordan & Co. – “S. Mordan & Co’s. Patent” – 1826

Very early Mordan & Riddle pencil. Fully and clearly hallmarked for London, 1826. Has the earliest of stamps on it “S. Mordan & Co’s. Patent”. In excellent condition and mechanically perfect. Bloodstone cornelian capstone with “fly” image and “Vite” engraved in the capstone.
