S. Mordan & Co. – “S. Mordan & Co. Makers” – Silver

Silver Mordan slider pencil, mid 19th century. The “S. Mordan & Co. Makers” maker’s mark was only used between 1845-1852. It is in near mint condition and the mechanism is fully funtional. Reeded barrel. Owner’s initials are on the slider (“MLD”). Very nice chalcedony seal; uncut and no damage.
