Unknown Maker – RHR – Red Hard Rubber

Rare red hard rubber twist pencil. There is no makers mark on this pencil. It is in excellent condition. The casing has a cross-hatch like appearance. The barrel has the Goodyear May 6, 1851 imprint. Minor rubbing on the gold plated surfaces. The cap unscrews to reveal extra lead storage.
