Edward Todd – Papoose & Cradleboard – c1880

Edward Todd figural magic pencil in the shape of a Native American papoose in a “wicker” cradleboard. The outer casing is sterling silver and the baby’s face & arms are copper. In perfect working order; no dents or damage. This is likely an early Todd (1875-1890) as it is simply marked “Edward Todd & Co.” and does not have the Todd maker’s mark that is usually found on later items.
