Unknown Maker – Egyptian Mummy – Ushabti

The enamelling is in very good condition and there is no damage to the pencil itself but internal mechanism is detached from casing. This particular one is in the shape of a “Ushabti”, a type of Egyptian tomb figure. These figures were intended to be servants who would magically come to life and do any chore the deceased might be called upon to perform in the afterlife.
