Francis Mordan – Pen Nib

Rare steel nib made by Francis Mordan. Mordan exclusively made gold nibs as late as 1867 based upon adverts that I have found so this must be dated somewhat later. Francis died in 1868 so it may be that the company began making them following his death? Appears to be unused. Has the distinctive F. Mordan “sword” cut into the nib.
