S. Mordan & Co. – Pig

Mordan figural pig pencil. Stamped S. Mordan & Co along with the registration lozenge. The lozenge has been double stamped and neither is very crisp. In excellent condition. From what I can make out, there appears to be the top half of an “S” in the year field (the “S” is the only letter with a left facing curved element in it). This would date the reg. mark to 1875.
