Mordan slider pencil in near mint condition. No dents or dings and the makers imprint is good. Mechanism working. The “S. Mordan & Co Makers & Patentees” on the barrel dates this pencil to between 1837 and 1844. Intaglio seal with hands cupping the earth. Top unscrews to reveal 3 lead chambers.
