S. Mordan & Co. – “Mordan & Co. Patent” – c1823

Early Mordan combo pen/pencil in very good condition. The visible imprint is “Mordan & Co Patent”. This was the first imprint used by Mordan, starting in 1823/1824 making this a very early combo. It is complete (with quill nib). The pencil drive pin is missing and would need to be repaired in order to fully function. The pen utilizes the Bramah clip to hold the nib in place.
