S. Mordan & Co. – “S. Mordan & Co’s. Patent” – 1831

Early Mordan & Riddle pencil. Fully and clearly hallmarked for London, 1831 (SM GR). In excellent condition and mechanically perfect. Yellow glass capstone (no chips or damage). The name “Frances Margaret Appleyard” has been engrave over top of the area that originally would have had “S. Mordan & Co’s Patent” (the “S” is still visible under a loupe at the beginning). No spare leads in inner barrel.
