Caricature Porcelain Portrait Inkwell – France (“Mother-in-Law”?)

Caricature Porcelain Inkwell. Similar to those in “Collector’s World of Inkwells” (Jean & Frank Hunting); page 93. In excellent shape; one tiny chip out of base at rear. Minor wear. c.1840. Of similar manufacture to the younger woman figural that I have but of a much older woman so I decided that I’ll call her the mother-in-law.
