Early Mordan slider pencil. No dents or dings and the makers imprint is crisp and clear. The “S. Mordan & Co Makers & Patentees” on the barrel dates this pencil to between 1830 and 1845. It has the line & dot pattern, along with an uncut amethyst seal in perfect condition.
