S. Mordan & Co. – “S. Mordan & Co. Makers & Patentees”

Early Mordan slider pencil in excellent condition. A few dings on the barrel. The makers imprint is crisp and clear. The “S. Mordan & Co Makers & Patentees” on the barrel dates this pencil to between 1830 and 1845. It has a reeded barrel. Somewhat rare to find early Mordan’s made in this design, without a finial/cap. In full working condition.
