S. Mordan & Co. – “S. Mordan & Co. Makers & Patentees” – 1827

The markings are quite rubbed but the date character “m” is easily recognizable in the hallmark under magnification which dates this one to 1827. It is also stamped  along with SMGR. Good working condition. Hobnail (waffle) cap; no dents or dings.
