Williams’s Ink Pot – Black

Black Williams Ink Pot. Williams inkpots of any colour are difficult to find, and many have missing or damaged screw tops. Keeping an eye out for the rumoured “green” Williams that apparently was made, but I’ve yet to see. The registration # dates the design to early 1899. This pot is chip and crack free, although there is a small chip out of the screw portion of the cap. The glaze is crackled as is normal for a pot of this age.
